Devices Adds to Engineering Staff

Sound
Devices, LLC proudly announces the addition of Yelena Akhramkov to
its staff. Yelena comes to Sound Devices from Shure Inc. where she was Principal
Engineer – Software Development.
Yelena was the main software architect for numerous DSP-based mixer products and brings more than 15 years experience in software development to Sound Devices. She holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Physics from the State University of Ashkhabad, USSR, and has a Masters in Project Management from Devry University in Chicago, IL. She has the distinct honor of being the Sound Devices employee with the most experience using punch cards to write computer programs. We are very excited to have such a talented and experienced programmer leading our software development effort!
